Due to a maximum number of guests for each visit, reservation in advance is compulsory.

The office is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 09:30 – 12:30 and from 13:30 – 16:30.
COVID-19 UPDATES
To maintain safe distancing our guided tours have a closed number of participants, booking in advance remains obligatory.
Protective masks are no longer obligatory since the 1st of march 2022.
TEMPERATURE AND CLOTHING
The temperature is a constant 11°C inside the cave.
We recommend you bring comfortable shoes (trainers etc. are perfect) since there are many steps to climb.
In summer it is best to bring a thin jacket or a jumper, since the difference in temperature can be a lot!
SMALL CHILDREN AND INFANTS
Our visitor centre is equipped with baby changing facilities.
When visiting the cave baby carriers and rucksacks are perfect to enjoy the visit with your little ones!
DISABILITIES AND MEDICAL CONDITIONS
The round trip includes 500 steps in descent and 500 steps in ascent, for this reason the cave itself unfortunately is not visitable for people suffering from motoric/walking disabilities.
Furthermore, we do not recommend the visit if you suffer from severe cardiovascular or heart conditions.

PHOTOS
Feel free to take photos with or without flash – apart from on the stairs descending from the cave entrance, were photos are forbidden due to safety reasons (slip hazard).
DOGS
The cave can be visited with small dogs only, these must be transported in a carrier or similar and cannot touch the bottom of the cave for hygienic and safety reasons.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
Our cave is visitable in all weather conditions! Should snow or icy conditions however make road access difficult it is advisably to contact our office in advance!
PARKING
There is a free ample parking space available on the premises. If you have a camper van you can stay overnight, though the area is not explicitly equipped with any camper infrastructure.
